Storage Rates
- • Monthly: 400 THB per box per month
- • 10-Month Season Deal: 3,000 THB per box (equivalent to 300 THB/month)
Short-Term Storage
This covers our delivery costs for shorter storage periods.
Volume Discount
15% discount on boxes 3 and above. Boxes 1 and 2 are charged at full price.
Important: Volume discount only applies when all boxes are picked up and delivered at the same time. Otherwise, additional pickup/delivery fees apply, or the discount is forfeited.
Payment Terms
- • All payments are upfront - no partial payments or installments
- • Accepted methods: Cash, Thai bank transfer (PromptPay), or SWIFT international transfer
- • Need another payment method? We're reasonable - message us on WhatsApp and we'll try to facilitate any common payment method (Wise, Revolut, PayPal, etc.)

All storage packages include one (1) pickup and one (1) delivery within our service area.

Service Area
Free pickup and delivery is available in Saladan (northern Ko Lanta). Deliveries outside Saladan may incur additional charges - contact us for details.
Mid-Storage Access
Need to access your boxes before your scheduled return? No problem!
- • You can visit our storage facility to access your boxes
- • Schedule an appointment via WhatsApp
- • 48 hours notice required
- • Weekdays only (Monday - Friday, excluding Thai public holidays)
- • Working hours: 9:00 - 16:00
* Emergency access outside working hours: 1,000 THB

Storage Boxes
Box Specifications
- • Standard 140-liter storage boxes provided by Lanta Box
- • About the same size as a large suitcase - fits plenty!
- • Security seal tape included for tamper-evident storage
Weight Limit
Please ensure your box can be safely lifted and handled.
Your Responsibility
- • Pack your items securely within the box
- • Apply the security seal tape before pickup
- • Do not exceed the 25 kg weight limit

Getting Your Deposit Back

❓ Can I use my own box?
No - only boxes provided by Lanta Box can be used. This ensures consistent sizing, stacking, and security across all stored items. Our boxes are specifically designed for safe seasonal storage in Ko Lanta's climate!

ID Verification
Passport Required
We require a valid passport to be presented at all interactions - both pickup and delivery.
- • Show your passport when we collect your boxes
- • Show your passport when we deliver your boxes back
- • No passport = no handover (for your protection!)
This ensures your belongings are only released to you. We take security seriously!

Need to Extend?
Contact us via WhatsApp to extend your storage. Extensions are charged at the standard monthly rate (400 THB/box/month) and must be paid upfront.
We also accept SWIFT international bank transfers and can work with you to find a reasonable payment method - just reach out on WhatsApp!
🏝️ Peak Season = Chaos Season
November to April, everyone wants their stuff back at once! If you're running late, give us a heads up ASAP. Last-minute "I'm at the ferry terminal, where's my box?!" messages make us cry into our pad thai.
Gone But Not Forgotten
When Is Property Considered Abandoned?
A box is considered abandoned when:
- • 3 months have passed since the storage period ended
- • We have made reasonable attempts to contact you with no response
What Happens to Abandoned Items?
At booking, you pick your "oops I moved to Bali" backup plan:
- ❤️ The Karma Route - Your stuff finds new homes with island locals & charities
- 🌊 The Clean Break - Responsibly recycled into the universe
We'll hunt you down across social media, carrier pigeon, message in a bottle - whatever it takes. But please, just keep your WhatsApp working! 🙏
Liability & Insurance
Lanta Box takes reasonable care to protect your belongings. However:
- • We are not liable for damage caused by improper packing
- • We are not liable for damage to prohibited items
- • We are not liable for boxes exceeding the 25 kg weight limit
- • Natural disasters and force majeure events are excluded from liability
- • We recommend insuring high-value items separately
🌧️ Monsoon? Flooding? We want you to be the Ross, not the Monica. We keep your boxes off floors and out of basements, stored as safely as we can. But if Mother Nature goes full chaos mode, we've done our best - and that's all anyone can ask.

- ✓ No basement storage - ever
Cancellation & Refunds
- • Cancellations before box pickup: Full refund
- • Cancellations after storage begins: No refunds for unused time
- • Early retrieval: No refunds for remaining storage period
Terms Validity
We Honor Your Terms
The terms in effect at the time of payment/closing are the terms that apply to your storage - not the terms at pickup time.
- • Terms may change for future bookings
- • Your deal is locked in when you pay
- • Keep a copy of these terms for your records!
We protect you by honoring the agreement we made, even if our terms change later.
